### Chicagoland Evo Meet / Part II O.o
Sorry to crash the thread, but I don't see any other active threads for the Chicago area. We do wings or some other restaurant pretty much every Wednesday in Milwaukee.
Does anyone get together on Wednesday or Thursday nights around here? I am in Carol Stream for work and just lookin' for something to do for the evening. And I do have my Evo with me.

Used to have a weekly hooters meet in the O.G days of MWIR. Things got sloppy REAL fast and killed that spot amongst almost every other. Thing about Evo owners is they're very disorganized. We could learn something from the VW/Subie guys about organization; then maybe things may start to clear up and a legit weekly thing may come from it. I atleast hope so.

I don't think so. I am not really into weekly meets. I know some of the guys because I used to have an M3, but a lot of the new people are total douchebags. They seem to have their head stuck up their asses because they own a BMW, and talk down to my Evo even though it cost almost $40k with mods while they drive some POS old 3 series. They have major complex issues.
I will let you know if another cool meet pops up though. You can try checking out notfwd. They have weekly Saturday meets, and go on fun drives around the Chicagoland area. I would recommend them over the BMW meets. The people are more down to earth, and they actually drive their cars instead of just making them look pretty.

ON that note the notfwd guys seem to have a good balance. Enthusiasm for vehicles, not much douchery & more than enough level headedness to offset any stupidity of noobs/fanboisim.
