Leave the car as-is, and come to the meet. Bring the car, brake fluid+container+tubing, the new brakes and coilovers, spring compressors, a jack, four jack stands, and enough 10/12/14/17mm wrenches/sockets, ratchets, and extensions to cover a team for each corner of the car.

I take to addison wheel alignment. It's an old school shop but he's very good.

Head swaps, timing belt changes, motor mount...er..."fabrication", all in hotel parking lots. Wasn't it two years ago that someone trailered their car to the Econolodge in Norwalk, Marco met them with a fresh shortblock when he pulled in the night before racing, and they slapped it together and ran the next day?
