So if something is free, does that mean it should be mediocre? I've been to plenty of free shows that have been awesome.

Yeah so I showed up a little late.... so what.

Where does it say anywhere in my post that I gave people ****? Where does it say that I was demanding? Get your facts right before you type **** about someone you don't know. If you knew me you'd know I am neither.

Thanks for saying I sound a miserable person though. You sound like a person dumb enough to judge someone and make accusations, based on single post made on a car forum (that could be easily misinterpreted I might add). Thumbs up to you pal.

"Can't we catch the group further round the tour", I said. "No missed you're too late". Miserable cow, I'm sure she could have helped us join the group. : mad:

Maybe a burger would help...... yeah maybe not.

After lunch I had a walk round, which took all of 15 minutes. A few nice cars there... it's made me want an X a little more.

Meet up with a few familiar faces. You guys know who you are, it was good to see you as always.

Listened to some Japanese guy do a lame speech. His English was better than my Japanese so I suppose we can give him some credit.

I tried to get a goody bag from the welcome tent but failed miserably. I was trying to explain to the women manning the tent that I got to the even late and I didn't have a blue slip (which I supposedly needed to get a bag). So basically she wouldn't let me have one.... I started to walk away and this guy must have heard the conversation, walked up to me and gave me one of his.... the lady had given him 2 when he went up! So a big thanks to the guy that gave me one of his goody bags. As it turned out the goody bag was totally naff.

Everyone fled once the raffle had been drawn.... and well I wasn't going to stick around.

So yeah it was a 2 hour drive each way from Chicago, I only spent about an hour there. I really wasn't that impressed at all and for me I didn't think it was worth it.

To be honest I thought the open day at AMS was way better.
If you're disappointed in the event as a whole, perhaps you should have looked into what exactly it was before you made the trip.

You got there 3 and a half hours late, 30 minutes before big raffle drawings started.

Tours are sized to a maximum amount of people, I'm sure she was following her instruction. Sorry you didn't get a tour.

The "goody" bags were definitely not all that. But I understand your feeling on the principle of the thing. *Shrug*

That "Japanese guy" wasn't just any guy, a--hole. Disrespectful describes your post rather well.

There was free food for hours, near-free t-thirts, a film, popcorn, free service manuals, free booster seats, a decent quality band that played all day up until just after you got there. 18 sets of 16 and 17" wheels given away. A quality showing by AMS, 60's Galant GTO, Colt FS2000, the only dual-engine Talon in existence, 900hp Evos, built Xs, but, moreover, alot of comeraderie among Mitsu owners of all makes.

Sorry you feel you pissed your day down your leg. I'd tell anybody not to show up that late regardless of where they were coming from.

Glad you could lick your wounds at AMS the next day. Hope your life improves.

2 out of the 3 evos i saw on the way back after mod waved. in fact the two that waved we all ended up at the same gas station. the other guy that didn't wave was just too cool i guess lol.

and to the blue evo 8 i drove with for a while...that was awesome!

I arrived 3 1/2 hours after the event started. If the event went on until 3.00pm and I arrived at 1:30... how am I late?

Yes I'm sorry I didn't get a tour too, as for me that was the main attraction of the event.

Thanks for calling me an A-hole... that's real nice.

I don't understand what the big deal is here. People are getting all pissy because it's MY OPINION from MY EXPERIENCE that MOD wasn't that great. If you enjoyed yourself and had fun that's great... whoopee for you. Don't beat down on me because MY OPINION on MY EXPERIENCE differs from yours.

And yeah I did lick my wounds pretty well at AMS today.... I enjoyed myself more at the swap day today even though it rained.

Thanks for your concern, my life is significantly improved.

Ya know where all entitled to our opinions, but I agree with everyone that has called you out on your post.

You are disrespectful. Why should you be treated any different from the rest of us. Sorry you couldn't get off your butt to get there any eariler then 1:30pm. Your on the forums all the time, I think by now you would know from past MOD post that coming early is a good thing. There are tons of people that got up at the crack of dawn to be there on time, so go take your whinning somewhere else. Because I don't feel sorry for you, and the factor that you just tried getting your way like your suddenly better then everyone else just make me have NO respect for you at all. You live in Chicago how the hell couldn't you been there earlier then 1:30?

Just because you have an Evo doesn't mean you better than everyone else. Just means your one of those Evo owners that let there car goto their head and now needs a swift reality check that your NOT top dog.

I've been going since 2005 and never been disappointed. Just keeps getting better every year. BUT thats my personal opinion.

You don't like it don't come next year and don't wreck it for other people. Go find some other mindless activity to fullful your bs life with.

I'd like to see you try and put something anything remotely close to what they do for a huge amount of people, and make it all free. Can you spot that kind of bill? You should feel honored you don't have to pay anything for food and your admission. Be respectful and thankful that they even put something together like that for the Mitsu community. Your just a disgrace to the Mitsu community, seriously grow up and realize the world doesn't revolve around your wants.

Oh and disrepecting the Japanese guy tops it all off, you really are a disgrace. Owning a nice car doesn't make you somebody, you make the car. To bad your Evo has a bs owner.

How about the part of your post that called the employee a cow? I'm sure you didn't directly call her that but I'm sure your demeanor along with some nonverbals came across just as clearly.

As far as getting someone's facts straight, we can only go off of what you type and have to use that as factual data. If you were misinterpreted then you have only yourself to blame.

If you had a miserable time because you couldn't partake in some of the activities then I would suggest next time you show up at a more punctual time.

I'm only sorry I couldn't attend this one because I had to work; damn Uncle Sam and his demanding schedule.

Yeah I thought she was a miserable cow. Just because I thought that doesn't mean I called her that or was rude to her in any way. You like to assume don't you? My body language and "nonverbals" were not disrespectful or ****ty in any way. In fact I was very polite and respectful towards her.

I think anything typed can be taken the wrong way. This is possible because can't see body language or tone in something typed. If you want to blame me, that's fine, I really don't care.

I never said I had a miserable time! Why don't you make up some other **** while you're at it? You can also suggest anything you want mate. Maybe I couldn't make it down for 10:00 because I had plans that were important to me.

Anyone else want to jump down my throat and insult me because I said my experience on MOD wasn't the best? Maybe there are people out there that actually agree with comments I've made.

Where do I begin with this? Let's start with your first paragraph. It is a fair assumption due to human nature that when a person is not in agreement with someone their body language will show it. This can either manifest in your tone, crossed arms, glaring eyes or many other ways. So while I concede that I assumed you did one of these items it is still a fair assumption based off of "your" post. It would have helped your initial post if you said something to the fact that you were polite to the employee who I'm sure was only doing her job.

Let's move on to the next part of your reply. A person has to prioritize their agenda and accept those priorities even if it means sacrificing something else. Even if you had more important things to do that morning, which prevented you from showing up in time for the tours, that means you accept the possibility of having to sacrifice not attending those same tours with maturity and self-accountability.

Let's get things straight, I never once insulted you so don't try to use that excuse. I would actually be very interested if anybody does agree with your comments. I would suggest in your future post to think about what you want to say before you type it. This would avoid future misinterpretations.
