Denver service departments.

Who is the most reputable Denver Mitsu dealer for working on EVOs? What are your experiences?

My purchase experience with Massey was awful, so I don't plan on taking it back there for warranty-related issues (my seats are having problems after 1,000 miles).

Pace.. clubwrx pace?

I've had a couple warranty issues with my OZ and Rodney at Skyline was great to work with--but I only have an oz...

I've heard a lot of other great things about Skyline but then I've also heard a few bad things.

Bedlam would have more info because he got his evo there.

he's on lancerforums/clube8/HAI as bedlam.. shoot him a pm

My experiences with Skyline haven't been too hot

Do you guys know if I have to take my car there for the recall work, since I bought my car there? Or can I take it elsewhere?

I think you should be able to go anywhere --as long as they have what you need for the recall work. There was a huge recall on my VW--I lived in the middle of nowhere, so I just took it to the closest dub dealership and they got it all fixed for me.

I'm famous...? (or infamous)

Thanks for the tip. I'm actually heading over to 'Mile High' Mitsubishi tomorrow since it's the next closest to where I work and I need an oil filter on short notice.

I bought my EVO from Skyline on 104th and it was the worst experience ever. They dont care about thier customers. They only care about profit in their pockets. People dont buy from them or take your car there for service. I talked to the Service Manager about after market parts and he said he will take me out of warranty if I'm slightly modified. He said its best to take all that off before I come in. Well, business lost there. I talked to Boulder Quality Mitsubishi dealer (Service Manager) and they dont care if your modified or not. He said service wont be covered if aftermarket stuff caused the problem. They wont put you out of warranty just because you have an aftermarket exhaust. This makes sense.

Maybe I'll drive to Boulder for any warranty issues then. I won't go back to Massey after the lies and bull**** they perpetrated during financing. Also I stopped in at 'Mile High Mitsu' today to get an oil filter. The presentation of their facility is poor and that reflects badly on the dealership IMHO.

Wow, this is not encouraging. I am considering an EVO and it sounds like I may as well work on it myself.

Any luck Pace?

I live in denver. I go to the boulder one for service. Awesome place. I even asked them if they had aftermarket exhausts. They said they would be happy to get me one and install it. I asked. Won't it void the warrenty? They said No WAY!! Of course the new exhaust won't be warrentied but the rest of the car will.
Go up there. Test the ground. I like them.

Oh forgot to mention what I got done there. They resurfaced my rotors no questions asked. They said "One time courtesy" Changed my left front suspension because of Clunking noise. It fixed it quite a bit. Still minor clunking going but I don't think it's the struts. The only thing they didn't check on that I asked them to was the tranny noise. I brought the car there for the firewall recall.

Whatever anybody does don't go to Osbourne on Colfax, they suck at just about everything, I wish I didn't buy my car from them, Skyline sounded great and willing to help, but who knows if their any better
