Illinois guys, time for summer tires?

Just wondering if you think now would be a good time to swap out the winters for summers. Weather seems to be consistently getting better and it doesn't seem like its gonna snow again this season. I miss the Advans, plus I don't want to shred the winters by driving aggressively in warm weather. How many of you are putting your summer tires on soon?

I've been thinking about the same thing. I was waiting until low temps were around 40 degrees. Since, I think thats about the lowest operating temps for summer tires, if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully, in the next couple weeks around here.

I'm waiting for my summer wheels to arrive, which is supposed to be Wednesday. Winter wheels/tires are going to be off next weekend at the latest.

I'd give it a few weeks guys! Illinois is crazy when it comes to consistent weather. That's why I haven't put on my summer tires. And the fact that well... I'm broke right now and don't have any summer tires to put on All seasons for me!

Depends on how you drive.

If you drive like a grandma and lazy, get all seasons.

If you like to move out once in awhile, get dedicated wheels/tires.

I'm waiting til the end of the month just to be sure.

all seasons = 3 seasons, and suk in temps below 32 degrees.

IMHO, get a good set of winter tires and either all seasons or summer tires that can stilll handle rain well.

I had the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's but they wore out. I junked those and put my RE-01R's on today.. I'll be getting Blizzak's for the winter. Summer is heaa! Well not really but hopefully it doesn't snow anymore in freakin' April. Ridiculous.
