I might go as a spectator, but not as a participant because I've entered HIN before and it's all fixed. You already know who's going to win so there's no point in spending that much money and time and get back nothing. I'd rather just walk around. At least I'll have more fun and not worry if my car's going to win or not.

You're better off representing your ride on the streets. Street credibility goes a long way, much longer than show cars because a lot of people talk **** about show cars, but not so much about cars that represent on the streets. I'd show my car if the car show was free, but since it isn't, HIN won't see my car there. Besides, why do they need to charge so much for registry, when the venue is already paid for by sponsors and expected gate attendance? It's mind boggling how this whole show car industry is, but it is the lifestyle and I guess we all have to live with it.

You dont pay for registration.. you just pay for the your ticket.. $3.25 for paying online... but thats how it always was.. i remeber back then it use to be only $17 to get in and registration was only 40 bux..

yea i remember when tickets were $17 also, when they used to hold them at navy pier. tickets are just ridiculous now, major profit for the ent. groups just robbing patrons left and right.
