I am in the market to get my front bumper painted. Anyone got any suggestions? I know A&L, but they seem to give some high prices. Im specifically looking for shops around the north to north west chicago land area. thanks

Lester at vitek autobody, located in morton grove. He does all sorts of stuff and does a great job. The number is 847 674 9355. Pm if anyone pics of his work from my car. He pluged the spoiler holes and repainted.

 

I just had Foreign and Domestic Auto Body in Vernon Hills repaint my front Aero lip. clear coat was chipping and mitsu fixed it under warranty, went to a 3rd party shop. fit and finish, and color match to my graphite gray is top notch, highly recommended. they have a sign out front saying they were rated in the 10 best chicagoland body shops...and i believe it.

I went to them for auto folding boost gauge.. sleeper! ;]

 

A little off topic, but do any of these shops do some custom welding? I know AMS was selling a frame a bit back that had all the seams welded. I'd like to have this done down the road as well as a new front frame (radiator support) as half the bolts are snapped in there and needed to be drilled out larger.

 

A&L made a custom hood extention on my R32, all metal, so i'd guess they can do custom welding...
