First I want to say good luck on your purchase man..I hope it goes well. From the look of things you've got a decent size turbo under there..not stock at all!! If I had to take a guess I'd say it was a 50 trim. That exhaust manifold is also not stock. Still has the stock UICP...but if I were you.. I'd stay away!! buying a car like this, esp from a dealer could turn out to be a nightmare. If this will be your secondary mode of transportation, then go for it. However, from a DD(Daily Driver) standpoint...run like hell. Also there are people selling their evos on the forums for less with more mods...so if you want a built evo, I'd say starting here would be your best bet :-) Good luck dood!!

I don't see a MAF (either OEM or GM) in that engine bay.

If there isn't one, it means the car was converted to speed density, which (probably, but not definitely) means an AEM EMS rather than a stock ECU. Which means, depending on your location, you might be unable to pass emissions (I don't know what Minnesota's emissions testing and laws are like, so I really can't say).

thanks, I went to test drive yesterday and the car was a piece of sh**. I took it on the highway and the car wouldnt rev past 3k without sputtering. Also it smelt like something was burning and I know that wasnt what a clutch smelt like...
