Finalizing the Works Gb for the Midwest/St.Louis Dyno Day
Finalizing the Works Gb for the Midwest/St.Louis Dyno Day
Hey folks-
Just wanted to do an update on the Works Midwest region Gb, and St.Louis Dyno Day activities.
First let me say thanks to all of you for hanging tight as we navigated some rough waters with the Works P2 product release and pricing information. For anyone that has not yet seen Works latest announcement on the P2 product here's the link and its good news!:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=43988
The same discount structure applies as previously, but the only caveat is that the P2 upgrades will not count individually against the requirement needed to have Works on-site. A better way to look at it, would be to say it will take 10 reflashes or more to get David/Works on-site. The other possible factor would be if someone were to alternatively purchase an Aperture or Exhale which would also count against the "number".
In the beginning of the gb effort, there was a great deal of uncertainty as to how the gb would track. I had some concerns along the way that the response would be somewhat digital, and that the Gb would either go extremely well or maybe not at all. I am happy to say that it look positive at this point!
Finally having all of the data in front of us, I feel it is important to do a re-cast to make sure we have the gb list finalized soon. In fact, and hear me out before responding negatively, my goal is to get this Gb closed-out by this weekend if possible. There are a couple of reasons that this is important.
The first is the need to confirm how many P2 upgrades will be needed, as there are limited numbers of P2 hose assemblies. The sooner we can establish and confirm the quantity the better. the new pricing is going to create a renewed interest in the product and I don't want us to miss out on the opportunity.
The second reason is that we need to know how many P2 installs to expect, as there is some minimal work required to install the hose assemblies. In addition required dyno time can finally be calculated by participant.
Overall taking this closure step will help us assure we are on the schedule with Works, that the products are available for our group, and that we have allotted ample time for the dyno day activities.
For those that initially indicated interest in the gb, I have pasted-in the current list of Works GB Participants from the other thread. If you are on the list and still good-to-go, please confirm with me via pm. If not, and you are going to drop-off the list, contact Works and let them know and then pm me to let me know to take you off of the list.
In addition any new participants, not currently on the list, need to let me know as well and confirm via pm once you have placed your deposit with Works. As I mentioned before the same discount structure applies as before, and we have a limited number of MidWest region mail-ins also available(max not to exceed 5 participants). If the max number of 20 participants is reached prior to this weekend, then the Gb will close at that point.
If your are interested but have been waiting for the smoke to clear on the P2 product release, the time to act is now. The Works P2 pricing structure has been adjusted favorably based on customer feedback. As is, the normal pricing is very competitive.
However, this gb deal represents an even better opportunity for customers to enjoy the quality and reliability of Works products at a savings that will not likely be replicated soon.
Here's the list!

2) CompJoc (Boost control re-flash) Pre-order deposit confirmed

CompJoc- Thanks for confirming! Yes you were correct. The discount structure basically will result in the following pricing:
4-9 participants = 10% discount = $540 mail in only
10-19 Participants = 15% discount = $510 Works on-site
20 Partcipants = 20% discount = $480 Works on site
Geat pricing opportunity!!
Just as important as getting a discount, we need to get our numbers into Works asap to reserve the P2 hose kits. I am going to contact Works today and let them know we will need at least 10 kits.
Just a reminder that we can have a maximum of five(5) mail-ins form within the Midwest region (as defined by the evolutionm.net region) This means that five folks living within the Midwest region can jump onto this group buy. Shipping cost will still apply, but this is still a great deal. I can't believe no one has jumped on this actually
Oh well, not a big deal, but worth re-stating I suppose.
Again if anyone else wants in on the deal, you need to let me know soon. It would be great to get the 20% discount, but realistically after the price reduction, my concern is less oriented towards the price and more towards getting Works on-site, and also reserving the kits.
Thanks again!

Thanks for the confirm Turboholic!
Good news that David/Works has committed to being on site on Nov 1! Now no one should worry about whether on-site re-flashing will be done as David already has his travel arrangements made for this event!
Now its just up to us to get the best participation we can to get the best discount!!

Ok, Turboholic is off the list, and Ducati 98 and jfe are new adds for the P2 re-flash.
The list has been updated and will show confirmation with Works early next week!
Thanks guys!
