winter wheels/tires for evo x

hey guys, with summer being officially over i'm shifting my winter wheels/tires search up a gear.

last i looked, discount tires had some pretty cheap packages and tirerack only has about 1 wheel that was in the <$200 a piece price range. most gsr wheels seem to be going for $700 for 4 on the forums.

are there other places that i should look at? i'll probably be getting dunlops or blizzaks for tires.

go through the sale stuff on tirerack.com....I got a set of bridgestone Blizak LM-23's for $140 per tire.......235/40-18.....if you plan on going thru the snow get a dedicated set of snow, no all season

id say put away a given amount of cash maybe 50$ a week for the next couple months and then you'll have winter wheel/tire money, then it doesn't seem so expensive lol.

try to look around for a used set. they pop up on craigslist and forums quite often. I usually do a google search for forum FS stuff and craigslist.

just picked up a used set of bizaksn to play in the snow

thanks for the ideas. i'm pretty resigned to the fact that i'll need to pick up some dunlops or blizzaks.

question is, anywhere i can pick up some rims for cheap? the FS forums here have GSR rims going for ~$700, and i think tirerack's cheapest 18x8.5 is ~$640.
