if someone rear ends me and destroys my usdm rear bumper, can i get a jdm bumper as a replacement instead of a usdm?

You can get the $$ value of it - and do what you want with the money. In this case; buy a different brand of bumper.
Not 100% how to go about it though. A lotta people will do this and pocket the $$ - which is an option too.
