Window Tint Now LEGAL In Illinois!!!!
Ok ladies and gents, as per HB3325 in Illinois enabled into Public Act officially 11/03/2009: window tinting, to an extent, is now legal on all side and rear windows!! 
Per the bill, you can legally have one of the following combinations of non-reflective window tint on your vehicle:
1. Up to 35% all four doors and the rear windshield
2. Up to 50% on the front two doors and up to 25% on the rear two doors and rear windshield
3. Up to 50% on the front two doors and no modification to the rear if you already have factory tinted glass in the rear
4. Same as before with any % on the rear doors and windshield and no tint on the front
For all of the above combinations, you are also allowed, as before, up to 6 inches of tint at the top of the front windshield
No more tickets for me! Hooray for IL finally
