Hey guys, since spring is right around the corner and it is getting warmer outside was wondering whom be interested in have a meet this Saturday (weather permitting - but it does look like it will be sunny)? I was thinking meeting up at 9pm hooters back parking in Shaumburg then at 9:30 promptly curising out towards downtown. En-route downtown, stopping by to meet with south siders at Portillos in Forrest Park at 10pm (huge parking lot) and then getting back on the highway and cruising out at 10:30ish towards lower whacker and inevitably the Field Museum.

So cliffs:

9:00pm - Meet back lot of Shaumburg hooters
9:30pm - Cruise out to meet south siders at Portillos
10:00pm - Arrive Portillos
10:30 pm - cruise to lower whacker
11-11:30pm - arrive at Field Museum

Portillos in Forest Park: 7740 W. Roosevelt Road Forest Park IL 60130 (taking 290 down we would get off at Des Plaines Ave and make a right onto it and follow all the way till Roosevelt road where you will notice portillos at the intersection)

Hooters of Shaumburg: 1705 East Golf Road Shaumburg, IL 60173

Field Museum: 1400 South Lake Shore Drive Chicago, IL 60605

I'd encourage not only evo owners to show up!

hey slim, to much meets going on this saturday so am going to just let you tell me and other evo drivers what meets we should go next after the orland park meet is over. Thanx bro, that will make our life alittle easier.

 

I'm going to check with JDMC and see what they want to do but I wouldn't mind meeting up in Schaumburg at the Portillos before they took off for Whacker. I guess it depends on how much people want to drive. I'll shoot you a PM or update the other thread when we figure something out.

 

ure mistaken, there is another meet going on besides the orland park one, at it is in the shaumburg area as well. It ends up at frankly yours which is a hot dog stand closing up at 9pm. It is a mini meet, I suggest people meet up at hooters afterwards and cruise out to the city. This is why I quoted the second link and not the first.

I would have meet up to at any place, but my trans it getting built, dropping it off friday so wont have it for a couple weeks...the weather is going to be nice to this weekend. Next time for sure
