Supposed to be a pretty great turnout, 140 cars on the list on the JDMC site. I'm surprised I just found out about it today, didn't see it posted up here at all. I know it's last minute, but let's get some EvoM love going out there.
Runs from 8pm til close (1am), so you've got time to clean up before the show yet...

Yeah, definitely pretty awesome. Just as many, if not more, cars as there were at the last big Orland Park Best Buy meet. A lot more cops there, too, which meant a lot less "douchebaggery"
I love it when everyone calls my car rice because of the massive sponsor vinyls on the side. Too bad nobody wanted to back up their talk, it was all faceless yells and catcalls from afar...

oh, i'm not calling it a racecar at all, but for the platform and other cars with which it is comparable, it's no slouch either. that time was also on a 90+ degree day with hella humidity, though I realize that's not much of an excuse either. just remember, this is not an evo by any means and i dont consider it one either, but it performs well within its own rights for a car that runs mid 14's stock

I don't know your car, so I can't speak to it but if it's coated to the point it looks like a race car and it isn't, then get used to it because it's not going to stop.
As far as the event goes, looks like it was a good time. Some clean cars, some ugly cars, but a huge event without any issues around here is always a good thing in my book.

Oh, I've already come to expect it by now, I actually welcome it since it only helps me, in the end. The car isn't a slouch, but its legitimately sponsored as a track car, not a strip car, so power mods are pretty much limited to stay in class. Anyways, I'd much rather surprise people with my sticker-covered over-glorified lancer than anything else, the look on their faces is too priceless. I was just saying how it's funny that some people's mouths tend to work faster than their brains sometimes because the stereotypical car covered in stickers usually isn't getting paid for their display.
Like you said, though, an event without any major issues is always a success. Def. looking forward to more like it.
