Damn--seeing that video made me regret choosing to spend $400 on an old Saab Turbo instead of 17-inch winter tires for the Evo--except for all the road salt we get in Minnesota. What kind of tires were you using?
I miss my old '91 M3 daily driver--snow tires + RWD + limited slip rear diff = powerslide fun! (Plus you don't need as much space to do donuts as you do with AWD)
Doing left-foot braking or pendulum turns in my FWD beater just isn't the same...
Great video!

I had some fun today. There was barely any traffic out there so I tended to induce oversteer around almost every turn (slow in, boost out).
I drove around for about 2 hours looking for an empty parking lot, but the police had them all pretty well staked out.
The Sumitomo's worked very well. I was able to launce the car at around 3000 RPM and she went nice and straight with very little input from the steering wheel, but since the wheels are so wide the car will understeer pretty badly around a corner if you don't plant your foot on the gas pedal. Braking distances were pretty long, but I beleive that was affected by width of the tires.
I don't think I shifted into fourth gear more than 4 times in the 2 hours I was driving around.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
