haha, your first post describes how you were pulled over twice by cops for not having a license plate..

 

had the same thing happen to me this past saturday in schaumburg after i just filled up on e85 and was on my way to byron.
zip ties have worked for me in the past when going to court.
oh well, paying the ticket and moving on.....

After my third ticket, I put the Beatrush Bracket on with plate. It actually doesn't look bad, and with no more front tinted windows, I don't get pulled over any more...knock on wood!

 

Lol all these ridiculous laws and crap how come corvettes dont get pulled over if they have no front plate? And trust me alot of them dont! Or other cars like exotics/imports most dont have one either and dont get pulled over. The cop that pulled me over was a ***** although he let me go with a warning he said i had a very "distinctive" car and next time he would write me up for every ticket as he had already noted my car in the computer, my smart *** was like "what do u mean by every ticket?" as my ix is bone stock, hes like well you know no seatbelt, evading police (cause his fat *** couldnt keep up) lmao... etc... Front plates are gay. Oh and as he was lecturing me he would lean on my mirror wih his hand and i was just staring at his hand and he proceeded to stop leaning on it as i grimmed like wtf are you doing? Lol

 

Vettes get tickets, just like you. The owners just more often than not realize that they are willingly breaking the law and shrug it off.

If you want to roll the dice, be prepared to pay for it. No point in *****ing over something that you have so much control over.

You don't HAVE to do anything about it, in the end it's your call. . It's just rolling the dice. If you have a loud car, drive aggressively or stand out in ANY way you're going to be rolling the dice more often.

 

I just got one on my way home today. Got surrounded by two cops and they kept me there for half an hour for a freaking no front plate ticket. Geez, maybe they should have called in air support because I am such a huge menace to society.

 

I fee ya dude its crazy, its like dont you guys got anything better to do? They act like you just commited a felony or something.

 

luckily i have gotten only one ticket for no plates. i just cant wait for the law to pass. the state can save so much money by only producing one plate instead of 2.

 

I wouldn't hold your breath on this passing, if anything I'm surprised that more places haven't adopted the policy of Chicago where they can ticket for it while you're parked.

 

got pulled over in arlington heights for no front plate...they gave me a fix-it. also got 2 while parked in the city. best bet is to park indoors in chicago!!

 

I will never get a front plate!

 

O yeah, By the way, If you plan to take a picture of your plate on after the ticket and plan to contest it dont bother cause the ticket clearly states now they have a photo of your vehicle to void any contest. Fu@KN B$ Chicago...Funny part is they ticketed a cop right next to me
