Evo Stolen this morning!!!

Hey all -

Had my Evo stolen this morning between 2AM and 5AM in Addison, IL.

Details:
2006 Silver EVO IX
IL Plates: A76 2605
Tinted windows (20%back windows, 35% front)
JDM rear bumper
CF lip
CF C-Type rear spoiler
CF side spats
silver (body colored) vortex generator
stock wheels (dirty)
AMS exhaust
couple small scrapes/door dings from inconsiderate drivers on the passenger side doors.

Please keep an eye out and let me know if you see/hear anything...

This sucks.

-John

Was parked in front of my house in the driveway. Car was locked and the alarm was set. Both keys are sitting on my table right now.

There was no broken glass and no sign of how they stole it. It's just... gone...

The car was loud, so you'd think someone would have heard the alarm go off or the car start, but nothing. Guy across the street has a yellow Evo that was on his driveway, its still there.

Maybe the last person that owned it came back and stole it. Did the car have the alarm when you bought it?

I had the alarm installed shortly after getting the car 3 years ago. It was a Hornet (by DEI) unit with remote start. I don't think the alarm was very sensitive (not a mistake I'm ever going to make again) because it barely ever went off.

They most likely towed it. Tell your neighbor to make sure his car is secure. If he can't garage it, he should get a tilt sensor, motion sensor, and glass break sensor installed.

marmaduke, Addison PD will have put your car in the L.E.A.D.S alert system which is nation wide. Every patrol officer will have this information on their computers in the squad. Good luck.
