(WI) 2010 PB EVOLUTION SE 1500 miles 1 of 340 $25K
Could you explain this line please:
Who inspected the car and called it "good to go"? And my big question is... if the damage was so minor, why did they total the car? Insurance will only total the car if the damage is 1/3 to 1/2 the value of the car... and from what you show/say was replaced, there is not more than $5000 in damage done there (if repaired by a professional body shop) . There would have to be $10K-15K for it to be totaled...
Was inspected and is good to go now.

Wisconsin requires that the state patrol inspects the car from top to bottem. That is what was done. I did not pay a shop to fix the car, there was no point. Everything was bolt on.
Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, but you didn't explain why the car was totaled with so little damage, just looks like there's something else wrong with it that's not being disclosed... like the chassis is tweaked...
I just looked at wisconsin's DMV and it says for it to be declared salvage:
"Salvage vehicle - A vehicle less than seven years old that is not considered junk and damaged by collision or other occurrence (other than from hail damage) to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle is more than 70% of the fair market value. "
So, that means this car would have had to have over $15K in damage to it... The only way I can explain it is if there was some damage to the chassis that causes the frame alignment points not to match up...
Also the state inspection does not show that it is repaired properly or that the body is straight... "A salvage vehicle must successfully pass a Wisconsin salvage inspection by a certified state salvage title inspector before it may receive registration license plates. Inspections ensure the vehicle and its individual parts are not stolen, have proper equipment and are in safe operating condition."
So, this car's title is a "rebuilt salvage"???
So, can you explain what damage was done to the car to cause $15K to the car that would explain the salvage status?

Are you an insurance company? NO! Did the car come from WI? NO!
There is NO frame damage to the car. If you are not interested in the car, go away. You are wasting my time.
BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look Dude... the car hasn't sold for 10 months of your "Bumps"
No matter what state it's in, there has to be over 30% the value of the car in damage done to the car for it to be "salvaged", and what you have stated is under $4000 damage done to the car.
There's obviously something going on that's unstated, and any buyer who is serious about the car realizes it... I'm just trying to figure out what the story is/was
I was interested in the car... but there's no way I would buy the car now, because there's something shady going on with you being so defensive.

I am just annoyed with idiots like you that do not know how to use a calculator. Then he thinks he is an insurance company.
Fender
Hood
Headlight
Complete loaded bumper cover
Side skirt
Brake caliper
4 Rims and tires
Undertray
Wheel well liner
Intercooler which only has a couple bent fins on it from the bumper cover touching it but still damaged
1 shock
1 front lower control arm
Paint and Labor
You better recalculate your $4k damage done. The rims and tires alone are $4k.
Do you know how to read. GO AWAY!!!

So all 4 wheels were damaged?! WOW, The damage was not limited to the front right as you stated initially. That explains more of the damage. Also the hit was so hard that it bent the strut and LCA...
Has the chassis been put on a frame rack and had the chassis inspection points measured?
Also, do you have the SE #ed Keychain for the car?
