Good Carwash in Chicagoland?
Good Carwash in Chicagoland?
There is an excellent place on Halsted and 21st Street in Chicago. It's $6.95 before 10:30am and $8.95 after 10:30 for a hand wash. They use mits and no brushes on the paint. They get the dirt out of the corners of the rims. They take an air hose to blow water out of my mirrors. The towels are nice and clean. Plus they have a good supply of Maxim magazines in the waiting room.
Please save your posts about how "My Evo is my baby and I only wash it myself". It's two degrees here in Chicago and I don't have a garage. I'd like to hear about a good place where I can wash my car when I'm not downtown.

theres a place right by irving park/wise rd intersection in the hanover park/schaumburg area. right across from culvers restaurant on wise. same deal as the one you went to phil, use the mits, do the wheels/rims, vacuum inside and do the windows inside. even the air to blow off all the water in the cracks. i think its like 12-13 for a car. i went there, they did nice work.
There is a hand car wash in Addison, at the intersection of Lake st. and Lombard road behind where the AppleBee's is by the liquor store. they do the same, mit wash, dry, compressed air dry mirrors and stuff. they did a good job when i took mine there, a little steep though, i think it was like 15 bucks.
