Well, I live in Lincoln... own a blue Lancer Evolution. Although I'm up in Omaha quite a bit. There are two other members of this forum that own Evolutions. As far as I know there are more Evolutions in Lincoln than Omaha.

I'm planning on doing some sort of meet in the Spring.

I bought my Evo8 at Willamson's in Lincoln. The dealer had 3 in the showroom at Thanksgiving and said they sold a total of 5 including mine.

I'm in Michigan now. Lived in Omaha 10 years, Lincoln 12 years.

Gee, I must be old

MI_Evo8, you bought your Evo the same time as I. I originally went to Williamson to buy a blue one but all they had was black, silver (guessing you bought that one as it was gone the next week), red & yellow. The red one is still sitting there. Congrats on the purchase, I almost considered the car you bought... but nahhh.. I'm happy with blue!

They had silver, yellow and red in stock when I bought mine the day after Thanksgiving.

My choices were blue and silver. I live on a dirt road so black was definately out.

BTW - they sold me the car for invoice.

I was completely happy with my transaction with Williamson.

If you have a service issue with them, one of their senior technicians and I have been friends since the early 80's. Let me know and I can blow in his ear.

Regards,

Keith

I also bought mine the day after Thanksgiving "Black Friday".

I went to Williamson originally but they didn't have blue and it was going to cost $700 over what I wanted to pay ($28,000) to bring one in. I talked to Rob Fowler (good guy) a few times throughout that week and previously once every three months ... since the LA show release. I ended up calling and driving to Waterloo, IA where they were going to get it from.

I do my servicing at Williamson, so far so good... a bit pricey for an oil change ($61) so I'll probably look elsewhere to change my oil by bringing in Mobil1 and the filter.

I bought my evo from Rob Fowler. No complaints. Walk in take the evo out for a drive. Say I'll take it, negotiate, sign papers 75 minutes later and drive back to Michigan that evening.
