Friend's EVO MR stolen in Illinois

Hi everyone,

Yes I am a newbie to the forum, but I am greatly against theft. Was hoping to receive some assistance from the forum members.

A friend of mine had their EVO MR stolen from the Home Depot parking lot on LaGrange in Countryside. Unfortunately video surveillance cameras did not cover the spot where the vehicle was parked.

Car has ARC intake box, Perrin downpipe, Perrin test pipe, Borla exhaust, purple ARC spark plugs cover and Falken all season tires.

If you have seen the car or seen unusual parts for sale local, I'd appreciate if you can contact me with info.

Edit: $1000 reward if you find Evo or info that leads to finding Evo.

Thanks,
Dino

Here are the pics:

Thanks buddy. It is just crazy at how many Evos are getting stolen. This one was in full day light (around noon).

I thought they broke up the Evo theft ring up there? Are Evo's still an endangered species?

I didnt think the bust of Sierra Motorsports would stop the chicago theft crap. I figured it would at least slow it down. Sierra had a part in theft circle, but there is still a group out there taking them unfortunately.

I was up in Streamwood at a used car dealer last weekend looking at a 4runner, he said they had a red evo on the lot and it was stolen right off the lot on a Friddy night. So these guys taking them now arent afraid of anything it seems.

that is ridiculous - i thought most car thefts are planned rather than opportunistic

parts

seen a arc box for sale on chicago craigslist was a little strange the whole engine was stock but the box seems funny to me since arc parts usually are center points to other nice engine parts

Suspicious craigslist ad, the fact the mileage on the cluster was unknown is a red flag to me...

The person posting about the ARC box also had a post about stoptech brakes and body parts.

Not sayin, just sayin....
