I ran a best recorded time of 186.82. Then right after something in the rear of the car failed (Spectors said rear brakes were smoking) and it went right off the track at 186mph...here to tell about it and thankful it didn't flip! Needs some work, but still drove it home 45 miles.

This was a great event and I can't wait until next year! I will be back. Possibly in my Evo again if I wanna see 200 anytime soon. Unless the GTR is ready for battle...

My best run was 176.30 MPH (@38 psi., 3200 lbs, full stock interior and 8 point roll cage) I'm positive the car had an easy 180 in it. We had issues getting into 5th and the car has limited aero upgrades. 5th is not a gear I use much so I doubt it's ever been rebuilt. It will be for next year, I can promise you that.

I had an opportunity to run 2 Alpha 9's. A black and a white one. The black one wasn't a close race and I even missed 5th. Racing the white GTR I blew an IC pipe and the race was over. Although, at the start I had a good bus on him. Not to say he wouldn't have reeled me it, I had a much better start. Looking at the video his car almost went sideways when he launched! I'll have to post if he wants me to. Everyone was very nice, I learned a lot and will be better prepared for next year.

Watching Shep's and the AMS GTR's was awesome! Lots of cool cars and lots of nice people. The food situation sucked but that's last on my list. lol

After the race we went through the car to inspect everything. We found a massive gash in the IC pipe... Found out I was WAY down on power. I have no doubt I would have been in the 180's hadn't that been there. Boost seemed to hold fine however we were making odd adjustments between runs. The really odd part is that it was a hole facing the motor. I'm still proceeding with making a few more upgrades and all should be completed this week. Shooting for 750 WHP on Buschur's mustang dyno. Stay tuned!
