sounds interesting, and if it's a day and a half of track and half a day of classroom for 100 bucks, that's a great deal! im gonna seriously think about it. thx for the heads up.

are u guys going to stay at a hotel or commute? i dunno how far joliet is from here..i think it's about an hour and some change?

This is an AWESOME opportunity! I was there in my then-new Celica GT-S in 2000. Mark Hirt drives a blue GT and was wildly helpful in hooking me up with my class' champion as my instructor!

Go North on Route 53 to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-55 Southbound:
Go South on I-55 to the I-80 Interchange.
Go East on I-80 to Route 53 (Chicago Street).
Go South on Route 53 to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-80 Eastbound:
Go East on I-80 to Route 53 (Chicago Street).
Go South on Route 53 to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-80 Westbound:
Go East on I-80 to Briggs Street.
Go south on Briggs Street to Laraway Road.
Go West on Laraway Road to the track.

If traveling to the event on I-57 Northbound:

I will be there. Called the guy on the page and he said my car will be in class "STU", which is street tire and "slightly modified". He said this class was just created last week.
