Heres a question for ya, do you know of any autocross places around Purdue? The closest I could find was Indy. I was thinking of starting an autocross club, but I dont have much help. Any ideas?

nah, i don't know of any. i'm just really gettin into it all this summer. i'm sure when i go back to school i'll try to find places. i'm lookin at buyin an old RX-7 for $400 and gettin it running, then welding a cage and stuff into it. that'd be fun. i just don't know much about engines etc. yet, and this particular car doens't run.

AN RX-7 isnt a good car to have if theres a lack of engine knoledge, because on top of it all the Mazda has a Rotary engine, and from what Ive heard those are not the most fun engines toi work on, even though there are less pieces to deal with. You should auto cross the VW, its alot of fun.

That's funny...you guys go to college in Purdue. Not that I don't like Purdue, cause I do...but I'm going to college in Bloomington. Maybe for the Old Oaken Bucket game we can meet up or something.

I went to the Jagged Edge concert there in Lafayette about a month ago at the Cumberland Place Exhibition Center. It's too bad they did four songs and walked off stage...btw, Indiana sucks at pretty much everything except soccer and basketball. I know Purdue is better at Football than IU so I wouldn't worry about losing the Old Oaken Bucket game. The game is at Purdue so it looks like I'll have some driving to do in my new Lancer.
