LLS Foundation, Light the Night Walk by APM for "TeamGrant"

APM will be providing sponsorship and taking part in the LLS walk of Rockford. Recently a family member was diagnosed and is being treated for Leukimia. After having dealt with a family member battling cancer for 7 years and seeing what my mother went through on a daily basis to survive and beat it (more specific type of cancer but the efforts were still there) I wish there was something I could have done back then. Now is a chance for me to go forward and help repay the research and treatment that save my own mother.

We've decided to take part in a foundation and program that ACTUALLY helps the cause. From new and breakthrough technology to the most extensive research funding and donations out of any other network.

What we are doing is helping to sponsor a team "that we are participating in" and donating on behalf of APM and everyone else who participates. Everyone who participates, whether it is a 1.00 or a 1000.00 your name goes onto the T-shirt showing that you too came out with us in heart and in spirit to support and help the LLS foundation. Heck, YOU CAN JOIN the team as well!!!

For donations we will be offering a spot on the T-shirts (with whatever information you'd like on it), a discount towards your next service appointment giving you 20% off ANY labor, and we will match 50% of all proceeds that will go to help sponsor the team!

If anyone can help out then please message us or email us and we will work out a way to get your donation on the boards. If you want to stay anonymous then please retain that in your message or email. We will take all proceeds as well as the 50% addition that we will put on top and donate it under the team and hopefully be the highest donating team!

"The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. LLS is making cures happen by providing patient support services, advocacy for lifesaving treatments and the most promising cancer research anywhere. And it's all happening now. Not someday, today.

Friends, families and co-workers form fundraising teams, and millions of consumers help by donating at retail outlets. These efforts culminate in inspirational, memorable evening Walks in nearly two hundred communities each fall across North America.

The funds raised by Light The Night participants will help save lives. Join us!

Light The Night participants raise an average of $220 to support the fight against cancer. Be a Champion For Cures by raising $100 or more OR raise $1,000 or more to become a member of our Bright Lights Club.

Funds raised by teams and individual walkers provide:

- Lifesaving cancer research
- Financial assistance to cover patient expenses for transportation, medication and testing
- Free educational materials and events
- Programs such as the Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection program and Family Support Groups
- Advocacy for better treatments and healthcare reform
- Comprehensive, personalized assistance through our Information Resource Center.
- Light The Night Walk events are evenings filled with inspiration. - - During this leisurely walk, Champions For Cures carry illuminated balloons - white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer. Thousands of walkers-men, women and children - form a community of caring, and bring light to the dark world of cancer.

We are Taking Steps To Cure Cancer! Join us!"

For any donations, please feel free to call us, message us on here or on facebook or simply walk on in!
