Well I can't vouch for Nathan, but I can tell you what I was doing. I was reving up to just below 6K, slipping the clutch and smashing the gas to the floor. I made sure to drop the clutch when the rpm's were rising, not falling. After Nathan found out that we needed to launch @ the 3rd yellow, my best time was 12.726 w/ a 60 ft time of 1.776. Not too bad for winter tires.

Clutch, well it seems ok. I'd never really tried to launch it before, so it was all brand new. On my 13.0 run, I'm pretty sure I had tires break loose, but it's all a blur.

Tried to launch around 5k, but there's not much time to mess around or even think after you've staged. If either of us could have gotten our reaction times lower, then we could have really put up some good times!

r/t of .494 got me a 60ft of 1.763.

They have a course, I didn't know that!

On my last try I got my best react time of .347, but netted me a slower et of 13.184 but a fastest trap speed of 105.36.

Never red lighted. Some guy pulled a .002 r/t I heard.

Good times guys!

Thats an awesome time by Jeremy with 259whp! Our dyno is reading lower than ever I guess? I guess thats why my buddy Jim with 302whp can put 8 cars on 03 cobras from a 60 punch? haha

Keep up the good work, I hope to have my project WRX done this summer to hang with you crazy EVO owners.

He called and told me. Awesome power for the mods. ESP considering stock EVOs lay down ~210ish on our dyno.

Cant wait to see your new timeslips next tuesday if you go.

Be sure to always get 'good' 93 octane.

Just so everyone is clear, RT has NOTHING to do with ET or trap speed. You can sit at that tree for 5 seconds after it goes green and still run a 13.0 at 100.

When I had my WRX, good gas was very important. I found QT 93 to be the best overall.

Citgo has good gas as does mobil.
