New to the area - looking for a local shop
Greetings midwestern evo fans! Long story short, I just moved to the western suburbs of Chicago from NJ and I brought along my 2003 evo 8. I was unfortunately not finished with a cylinder head rebuild job when I moved. The car is completely together, but I've been having an odd issue where the car doesn't want to start. It appears there is a short somewhere or a bad ground, or something not plugged in, I'm not sure. I've gotten the car to start when jumping it from my truck, but a jump box doesn't cut it. I also removed the air conditioning and some emissions equipment during the process so I'm not sure where to look. In addition, I moved into an apartment complex and don't have much room or flexibility to work on the car. So I'm considering bringing it to a shop and have them take care of it while I start my new job....at Mitsubishi....
In any case, since I don't know the area I was wondering if anyone can recommend a shop. I know Boostin and AMS are within 10 miles from me as I live in Bloomingdale, but I don't know if this is something they will take care of or have time to do. I will most likely contact them any way. But I also would like to know of a good local reputable shop that I can use for other cars as well. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Haha thanks! I'm actually the same guy that's been emailing you this week about having AAA tow my car there.

Hey fellow Chicago-goers....can anyone recommend a good body shop in the area? Part of my "evo restoration" project will require some body work and paint. Unfortunately I don't know any shops so I'm looking for advice.
