Now, i know you want to make my life easier and pre-register online for TSSCC event, right?
Bartek - who's running TSSCC registration and prefers people pre-register rather than stand in front of him in a line (rather than walk the course) on the morning of.
Again, taken from the Yahoo groups:
"Q: How big are numbers supposed to be on the car? What would you recommend to use? I have a dark car (dark grey).
A: "All cars must have car numbers and class letters on both sides. Car numbers will be a minimum of eight inches high and a minimum of 1 1/4" stroke. Class letters must be between 25% and 50% of the number size, no smaller than 3 inches high, and located adjacent to the numbers. All number and letters must of the same single color and typeface, and in contract to the background color. Contrast may also be obtained using a
second color for a border or field, sized at least 25% of the number stroke. All letters and numbers must be on body panels, not on windows, and only one set of numbers may be visible while the car is running."
- page 54 3.7 Vehicle Identification
Don't expect to have your runs scored if your number and class can't be
/easily/ read from the trailer."
Trust me, this makes the event much, much smoother and more enjoyable - the registration goes faster, the people in the timing van/trailer have a much easier time entering people into the system and you as a corner worker don't have to squint and wonder what was the car number of the car that just went by. Trying to figure out 2" tall white car numbers on a silver car while it's moving at 50 mph 50 feet away can be very difficult

trust me, it's a little more laid back. the list you have there is for the day to be more organized, it's not like they're making u do something different every minute
and you can register online for MSCC events also.

Also, if time allows and everyone has taken his/her runs the more time we'll have to do fun runs
Btw, i'm not directing it to anyone personally, i'm passing on what i believe to be usefull info to make the event go smoother and be a more fun for everyone.
If anyone has any questions, please fell free to contact me or post here. We're all in it to have fun, right?
sounded like fun. Man I did this in '98. Even if you dont compete the rest of the year, a good way to learn your car safely. Something I still need to do. My friend spent all weekend preparing for this (he's one of the instructors) so he couldnt make it to my wife's dance performance. Dammit! But I guess it's OK since everything turned out so well.
Rain musta made it fun for the evos..

Also, don't forget about the time change this weekend. I'd say that some will forget and that should open up a few spots for the waiting list entrants.
