MN area evo Dyno Day May 29
I may be there. Will they be doing tunes or just collecting data?
I will really need to get my car on a wideband to sort it out after cams, fuel pump, and the intake. If nothing else I'll come down and say hi.
VR430, what parts are you installing? This weekend I plan to do cams++

Basically BR stage 2, but I still need a hiflo cat and a boost gauge...
erioshi, I may take you up on your offer from a while back if I can get these two parts in early next week. I'll call ya...

No problem, I'd be glad to give you a hand!
Evil_1, They are located on University Ave. in the Midway area of St. Paul. I don't have the exact address, but they are on the corner just east of Checker Auto.

I was going with JUN 264s but no one will have them in the US until mid-June at the earliest. I switched to a set of Piper Rally cams. The Pipers have 265 degree duration with an 11.7 mm lift. They should be slightly more aggressive than the JUN 264s would have been.
I'm about 1/3 of the way throught getting the new cams installed right now.
Needed to stop and grab some sleep, though.

I will be there in the morning to let the car get nice and cool, and i will be bringing a big fan like other places use for dynoing to put right in front of the car if anyone wants to use it. I hope there will be some subbies there.
Is this dyno day on a first come first serve basis or do we have to reserve time slots? If this event is advertized by Propulshions, then there'll be a lot of traffic, maybe too much...
OK, stopped by Propulshion to see what the deal is for Saturday. The dyno day looks to be an "arrive and dyno" type event where $65 will get you three pulls. They can do HP/ Torque, 1/4 mi, and "simulation". Simulation will emulate a driving condition and allow them to walk through all of the cars' diagnostics whlie in that state; sounds like a good tool for troubleshooting.
They don't plan on doing any tuning on Saturday, just baselines. The times are between 10(?)AM and 6 PM, but if things are slow they may stop early.
I will probably stop down just to say hi, I am considering dynoing, but my new cams may not be broken in yet. If they have some decent miles on them, who knows.
It's a great chance to stop down and check out their shop and get to know the guys.
