MN Track Days this weekend
MN Track Days this weekend
The All American Road Racing Federation will be holding a HPDE track and drift weekend at Dakota County Tech. We will be on the track Sunday the 30th and Monday the 31st. Details are available at www.aarrf.com, and I'll be there both days.
It's good chance to really drive your Evo in a safe and legal environment. Spectators are welcome (small fee to cover insurance) and the drifters can be a blast to watch. If my car is together I'll even give some rides.
If you want to drive the event please show up about 7:30 AM to allow time for registration and a tech inspection. To get there take 35W south from the metro to county 42 in Burnsville. Go east (left) until the world ends, then go even further. Dakota County Tech will show up on the south (right) side of 42. Take the first right AFTER the set of parking lot entrances; the paddoc and staging area will be on your right down a small road - look for all the cars.

^^^ Actually, you're about right - if you don't want to head all the way to 35W, you can take 77 south at the Mall of America and follow that into Apple Valley - 42 is a few stoplights into town and you would then turn Left (East). Again - keep heading east until you reach sunrise or Dakota County Tech...
