Yeah guys I have about 4 of evo8usa's runs, two 347 runs and two 349. Unforunately my camera went totally bonkers after i got home. The video's are fine, but I can't export anything. I think i might have damaged the firewire jack. As soon as I get them exported, i'll post.

I presume you have the afternoon runs for 347 and 349 and afternoon and morning for evo8usa. Where were you standing when you filmed those?

Btw, anyone noticed that a stock car (Dan's) can do better than a mildly prepped one (Pete's)?

 

Next to the white van, between turn 1 and 2. In other words, at the corner of the garage. I couldn't get launches from that vantage point, but I was able to get the entire run from 20' --> end timer. I figure that lots of other people probably got the lauches on camera anyway.

Yeah I was talking to bill about that. IMO the evo makes plenty of power for anything other than a amazing driver. I'm suspicious that they could switch cars and still have the same rankings.

Good choice. Launches are nice and all, but that's not where you make up/loose most time. At least not on Saturday's course. Now get your camera working again


Not sure what you mean by "switch cars" but more power doesn't always turn in faster times. Sometimes less is more

 

and understand, that was the first time i had autocrossed that car ! and the first time i have ever autocrossed a all wheel drive car

 

And understand that you've been driving that car for a while now on the street and whooping ESP **** in someone elses car till now... What i'm saying is "what's your point?"

 

i should have beat you and the ESP open guys.....

actually, you drove your butt off, good job. and damn, that evo is fun.....

and did you notice that i was .016 out of 2nd place in street tire???
