How about we have a meet up and then go to HIN? Have a nice little caravan of EVOs going to the show would be interesing to see on this highway.

there is an autocross in alsip on saturday, i know there will be 4 or 5 evos there.

yeah, im autoxing. but not in my evo. and anyone is more than welcome to watch, but ill tell you, once one watch, you will definately want to try it, and you have the perfect car for it.

 

I definetly wanna try it, but I wanna take classes first...would be a shame to wreck me car on the first run

 

no way to wreck your car, but if you come you can get someone to ride along with you or you can ride with someone else. the new driver school isnt until next spring. if you come saturday, there is plenty of people there to answer questions or give you a ride. ill be there driving a yellow camaro #197. and im sure there will be at least 3 other evos and about 170 cars total. but you have to come out and see, thats the first step.....

The Drift Event is US Drift at Tire Rack in Southbend In and its on SAT, I will be attending the staff day on Sunday because I was offered a booth at H.I.N. So for those that are going to H.I.N come by my booth and say hi =), I'll be in the Absorber booth.

 

So are there people willing to have a meet up before H.I.N.? Either at the Alsip autoX or somewhere else? Can we get a role call or something because i'd like to meet up with some people before HIN. My buddy with his eclipse wants to check out some evos while he is at it.

 

Not sure if getting a roll would work for alsip. No everybody reads all the posts. But i've been asking around for about a week now and I've got a mental list of about 10 people from the board who are going to be there. About half are racing.

If you're buddy wants to see some Evo's, they'll be a whole variety to peruse (GSRs, RSs, stock, prepped, maybe even a race prepped). I'm more than happy to give rides as time allows. PM me if you want my contact info.
