The Colorado Cog Rally, round #8 of the 2004 SCCA ProRally Championship presented by Hot Wheels and the Middle Cog ClubRally, round #5 of the Western States Rally Championship will be held in the beautiful northwest Colorado ski resort community of Steamboat Springs over the weekend of September 24-26th.
The ProRally event is scheduled to include 9 stages on Saturday, September 25th, totaling approximately 64.20 miles and 7 stages on Sunday, September 26th, totaling approximately 37.53 miles for a total of approximately 101.73 miles. The ClubRally event will be an SCCA Coefficient 3 event and will be the fifth of seven points paying events in the Western States Rally Championship. The ClubRally will include only the Saturday stages from theProRally event. The Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden, Colorado will be used as the single service area location during all competition…a designated parking area in Steamboat will be available for all competitors to use for service work during non-competition periods. The awards party for the Middle Cog ClubRally will be held on Saturday evening during the Fan Appreciation Party and Parc Ferme portion of the ProRally event in the first floor of the parking structure at the host hotel, the Sheraton Steamboat Resort. The awards party for the Colorado Cog ProRally will be held on Sunday evening in the ballroom at the same hotel.
