I switched to all-seasons for good myself.
The magic temp is something like 42 degrees. You want to be out of the Advans before driving at that temp! I think I waited until late November last year. It being the first year, lots of wrecks were posted up and I hit up tirerack fast!!!

early to mid November. I have an autox event on Halloween so I can't switch any sooner than that. I drove one event in early april w/ the advans when the ground temp was around 40 degrees. Grip, not so much! Ask Jerry, I spun, he spun, but the guy on track b4 him red flagged his run so he got to go over again.
