my tarmac black evo 8 has about 1500 miles on it so the bumper is still basicly new. there are no scratches, nicks, or anything like that.. ide like to trade for someone's evo 9 tb bumper in the same condition. ide also rather it be local because shipping would kill . i liove in md, but will travel to do the swap.

half of the post i see about the evo 9 front bumper is people saying how much better the evo 8 bumper looks than the evo 9.. so why does it seem so far fetched?

Anyone who dislikes the IX bumper enough to do something different is going to go with an after market one. The likelihood of someone wanting to put an VIII bumper on a IX is very low.

You would be better off to buy a IX bumper from Mitsu or used private party in about 6 months.

BTW -- Insulting people because they disagree with you is very childish and does not help your cause.

I agree, they make an aftermarket 9 front bumper that bolts right up know. The actual front bumper from a 9 doesn't bolt right up. Someone had already installed it and he said it cost alot of time and money. If u search you could find it. Hope this helps

 

yeah there is supposedly A LOT of time and money that has to go into putting the IX front bumper on an VIII if i remember reading correctly
