Evo 5 Cylinder Head Replacement...

Howdy all!
Track day at Spa, Belgium resulted in failed harmonic balancer...leading to jumped cam timing...and bent valves.

See it happen:

So thinking the worst and time is of the essence...any recommendations on a replacement head source?
Our combo is quite mild with an Evo 9 turbo, GSC Stage I cams, good intake, and Super Drager exhaust...but the future may hold something greater.

Nonetheless, we'd like to see the valve contact as an opportunity for upgrades. Not being well versed in Mitsubishi performance...we have heard of Cosworth and Buscher. Cosworth CNC heads haven't been available for years, but Buscher still seems to offer a 8/9 head. Not sure if that works on a 5...had the impression they are interchangeable.
We'll probably go with the full port/polish...might be worth 5-20 hp, no?

Welcome any suggestions/options...thanks!
Fun shot!

Ross Sport does CNC cylinder heads I believe. Would be more convenient for your location but very expensive.

rebel - thanks for the reply. We did see those...and yes expensive especially when you include the customs fee. They hit hard at 30% upcharge. Almost worth driving up there and picking it up in person (only 14 hours one way!)

Possibly our best option so far...thanks!

If only bent valves, why not pull the head, and find someone close enough to do the things that you want done while also installing new valves? Then you could have all the other clearances checked, replaced (guides), port/polish if desired? Seems sort of wasteful to buy another head to accomplish this.

Robbie: time is the reason. Additionally, not many machine shops around in Germany...certainly ones that have seen a 4G63 head. I'd rather go with a specialist...if the valves are bent, the seats will probably need some work.

ah ok. Well if you are looking to buy from US also, there is a guy in Cali, he mostly sells through Instagram, his name is theevogrimreaper (Nick) verified account. He just had a built Evo 9 head, if they are the same or usable. He often has 8/9 heads, stock and built. He is a reputable guy, but IDK if he does international shipping.
