Heh, I did the opposite with my Lancer. Be careful buyers...if that car (spoiler) has been garaged all its life, it will appear that the spoiler is a different shade of silver when compared to non-garaged car (spoiler). Nope, just the sun fading, baking the paint job on it. Found that out when I traded the OZ spoiler for an Evo VIII spoiler...

 

Spoiler matches perfect with my factory paint! Been garaged pretty much its entire life. Factory mits apexi silver paint.. I will promise buyer it is a perfect match, unless there Evo is considerably faded.

 

Base Lancer has munich silver and Evo has apex silver. But I don't if they're basically the same.

 

The paint has the same look from the factory. But if you compare a garaged silver Evo to one that has been sun-baked for a couple years...there will be a difference. Case-in-point, my situation mentioned above...

 

It is Apexi silver from the factory like I mentioned before. As far as the color fading, it is not a problem here in ohio maybe in a different climate like cali or texas. My buddy has a evo8 same color and he had the wing on for a while as well perfect match.
