Question i've read every post on wheel fitment but...

I've narrowed my choices down, and really like the Volk LE37T with the diamond cut lip...

these are available in an 18 x 8.5 +30mm which according to Rays website, they will clear the calipers of the EVO...

Now which tires should i run... i can go with a 245/40 which will make the overall diameter larger by .39", or i can run a 255/35 which will give me an overall diameter smaller by .30"...

I'd like to run the 255 just for the larger contact patch, and it'll look meaner than hell... but i also will have the car dropped 1-1.2" all around and do not want to worry about rubbing on turns and such...

Any input here would be greatly appreciated...

SO if i decide to go with 8.5 wide TE37's i would have to go with 30mm vs 38mm? What about TDC is it still 114.5?

Yeah that's what i meant. I dont' know why i'm talking about top dead center with rims

I'm a little confused. Would that LE37's work?

I know standrad size is 17 X 8, 1.5" and 4.5"PCD in inches. If i go 8.5 what changes so it'll be a good fit for TE37's and/or LE37's?

Ok i guess i'm probably going to play it safe and go with the 17 X 8. People have already tried it on the evo 8? Now gunmetal or white

according to Rays site, you need the 30mm to clear the calipers...?

Rays doesn't have a +38MM offsets for the 18 x 8.5 or 17 x 8 in those wheels. Use a +30MM offset and the PCD will always be 5/114.3 .
