More wheel questions not answered in Read Me...
I have been through countless forum msgs and still cant find the answer to my question....
We all know the stock enkeis are 17x8 5x114.3 but...
1 - what is the stock wheel offset?
2 - what offsets on another 17 x 8" wheel will fit the vehicle?
These will be used for auto x this year - stock class requires us to keep stock wheel size +/- 1/4" offset (i think that is approx +/- 6mm)
I saw a thing on a 350z site which answered the Plus zero, +1, +2 questions for the 350z and took all of the guessing out of the equation.
Thanks - jwh

Hi there,
I'm going thru the same thing. The stock offset is +38mm. As for what offset would work, it depends on spoke design to clear our brakes. All the wheels are different.
I myself is debateing to go stock size.
Either,
1. Stock OEM rims.
2. Enkei Tarmac Cast "17 X 8 +35mm
3. rays Volk CE28n 17 X 8 +33mm
PCD is all 114.3 i think.
I'm really considering the ce28's

The wheels were $225 each but actually yes I am going to run 225/45/17 hoosiers. the 245 tires would have been tight on an 8" wheel and i was afraid the tire might rub w/ 10mm wider tire and 3mm less offset.
