Dont you think theyll look like crap after the first time you remove them? Paint would start to chip off and what not

You may have to search around a bit but IM SURE there are aftermarket lugs in black for the thread stud size and type. I wouldnt advise painting the stockers(lug nuts) b/c the first time you wrench 'em on they will chip and crack no matter what paint you use. Just buy 'em black.

You could get the powder coated. They should not chip the first time, but they will eventually

The only aftermarket lugs I've found that fit the OEM wheels are actually Lexus lugs. I needed open-ended lugs to fit longer wheel studs, and the ones I found were also chrome. (And heavy)

Here's a thread talking about them:

It's a pain to find shank style lugs that fit our OEM wheels, so I feel your pain.

Just dont use "tuner style" lugs. Im sure you know, but just throwing that out there since your searching for aftermarket ones. Ours have to have the shank to go in the large hole in the stock rims. Taper or acorn style will not work at all.

My vote would go to powdercoating.

You MUST use a similar style lugnut with a shoulder and preferably a washer. I have never seen anything like this other than the stock ones.

The pretty / lightweight tuner and acorn style lugs will not work reliably.

They will work if you are careful and wiggle the wheel when you tighten them and check the torque regularly blah blah blah, but if you bring your car in for service and they remove one or more wheels, expect it to shake and / or fall off if you don't re-do it when you get home.

Not worth the hassle IMO
