Are springs easy to install?

I just got some S-Techs for my 05 Evo VIII and I was just wondering if anyone has installed their own springs and how hard it would be and what kind of tools I would need. Thanks

Go to autozone and get a spring compressor. The rest of the tools are basic tools. Its not hard, its just time consuming

well, if you are asking this question chances are you shouldn't do it yourself

find some local guys in cali, who do suspension work, caus you will need an alingment anyway

it should be around $100 for the install and alignment

that is a very good decision to take back your springs and get some coilovers (especially s-techs)!!! Might as well save up your money and do it right the first time; instead of installing the springs and seeing how bad they suck, and then eventually getting coilovers.

oh and next time before you buy parts to mod your evo, do some research on this forum or just ask someone. I would hate to see someone just throw away their money on garbage for their evo! Take is easy bro

u dont neccesarly need an allignment after putting springs on. its easy do it ur self. all you need is a spring compressor. go pick one up and u will be on ur way. just like the other guy said its time consuming!

It's only easy if you know what your doing. I sure there is a do it yourself section here for when you get coilovers. Coilovers are much much easier to install then springs anyways.

Rear ones are easy,,, the front ones you'll need to use a spring compressor.
