I need Brakes!

hey guys... now need brakes... what r the best replacements...I think I just need pads... and i'll just turn the discs... I think evo's come with Hawk pads and pepboys stock those pads should I go with those... or will some 60 bucks ceramic pads from pepboys, autozone, etc. just be fine?

Do you ever track your car? Or do you just drive it on the street?

what is a stoker?

very few people, on this forum, replace their pads/rotors with OEM Brembo as it is very expensive and there are so many cheaper, better performing aftermarket parts to choose from.

....I thought ... evo's came with Brembo Caliper "what u see" but with Hawk Pads !... guess I must be wrong...thankx for the heads up..."I used to own an SRT-4 lol"

so where can I purchase Brembo pads? and i'm looking at price from autozone and kragen both pretty cheap... autozone has Duralast GOLD for 36.99 front and 34.99 rear there best replacements... kragen has raybestos cermaic for 44.99 front and similar for the rear... I know Pepboys carries Hawk but there online site sucks so all go the store for pricing ... later on..

since I can put brakes my self n save myself some money... do u guys think raybestos r jus fine? would perfer the Hawk or "Brembo pads
~if there O.E.M.~ " if there anywhere below 200 if not I would pass...

I use my car for mostly a daily driver but I do want Great performance...my car is compelty stock... and haven't hit the tracks yet but I do hit the CAYONS which is probally y my brakes r WORN ! lol

Get Hawk HPS or Project MU Street pads. These two options are as good as or better than Brembo pads and are half the price. Again, no one in their right mind spends almost $450 for OEM Brembo pads.

negatory on the autozone pads, please look at better pads, look into hawk and axxis's street performance ones, those seem to be universally available, not expensive, and can handle CAYONS...
