Question Smoke headlight protectors too dark?

I came across these headlight covers thanks to another forum, and i am now seriously considering getting them for my car. Two questions:

1. Would you prefer GT Yellow, or Smoke? (my car is electric blue with blacked out front bumper) And if smoke, what percentage? I was thinking the darkest (see below!!!)

2. It says the Smoke is for cars that never run at night. Does this mean if I apply the covers, my headlights wont be able to shine through them at night (a.k.a. would be illegal)??

Thank you very much!!

Every example of electric blue with the tint seems to have the yellow. But the smoked would be better IMO. Do you drive in the city or country? My last car had my fogs as DRLs and i hardly ever used my headlights. I was warned a few times though.

The higher the number the lighter the tint. So try a 35percent, instead of 5. It shouldnt be too bad.

SmoothdrJay, thanks for your opinion. Also, not to be mean, but i know how tint percent works lol I usually go out at night with friends and stuff, so I need my headlights...

OHOHOHOH!!! ALSO I have a pair of those look-alike HID bulbs, the 20 dollar ones, and they are Ultra White. A little brighter and whiter, but not AMAZINGLY brighter......if that info. helps

No offense but I'm all about being able to see when I drive at night rather than looking cool so if you do a lot of night time driving that might be something to think about.

No, it wouldn't look out of place.

Not everything on the car should be one or two colors. Especially when there's a solid reason for it (yellow light being the safest).

My thoughts on the blue = rice (and also a police attraction). But that's just me.

I have the Lamin-X ones and love them. Easy on/off. Not really too much different in how much light is restricted either.

I was looking into buying them from Lamin-X, but I wasn't sure which color to get, but now that I see your's, they look hot. Which color choice was that? I don't want to order them to dark, but not to light either. And if I recall right, I think they had 3 different types of smoke ones
