Works reflash=awesomeness*update*

Hey BIG props to EDO Performance and Works! i took a trip from San Diego to LA to have a dyno and a tune from Works at EDO performance. First i want to say the customer service at EDO is excellent! They treated me like, not only a new customer, but a part of the crew. EVERYBODY was friendly. I would definitely make another trip up there if i need something done to the X.

Now to the mod/reflash. Unfortunately the dyno was not working and i could not get it dyno after the reflash. I saw the new STi in person and i have to tell ya they look badass! especially black, dropped, with gold rims! the stance is just excellent! but i couldnt see myself driving a hatchback anyways Works came through and got my X reflash and let me tell you its like a TOTALLY different car! now fun to drive. everything about it was change. The way the boost just hangs on until 7k is awesome, car runs really smooth on the highway, and slamming through the gears just pins you to the seat. They said i wouldnt need a tune if i just have a cai but i will get one soon. Well they said a reflash is basically a tune anyways. If i has A LOT of mods then i would need a tune. I would definitely recommend Works reflash to any evoX owners looking for a "boost" up in performance.

Again thanks to Works and EDO Performance!

unfortunately no. like i said their dyno was down. im planning on getting one soon. you dont need a tune after a re-flash. i mean its great to squeeze that extra hp from it but with just the re-flash you can definitely feel the difference.

yea i stopped by to EDO the day of MOD for the first time, and i felt like i was one of the most important people there. my evo 9 was the first on up on the dyno and the numbers didnt seem to add up. i put out 199hp and 10psi of boost, they knew right away something wasnt right. Pete from WORKS and Robert from EDO started digging into my engine bay and noticed my boost sylinoid wasnt even hooked up but on top of that it was broken. Pete did some additional digging and found out my car was running too lean. one of the other evo drivers hooked me up with a new sylinoid and WORKS gave me a P2 flash and tune. this time i was putting out 300 whp at 21psi. keep in mind my car is basically stock (other then the suspention and brakes).

EDO and WORKS i look forward to doing more work with ya.

Edo performance came through once again! 307hp and 301tq with an AEM intake, Works stealth exhaust, and reflash. Great results! Thanks Pete, Robert, and the whole team at Edo! Dyno scan soon to come, enjoying the car in Vegas.

Thanks for giving the WORKS P2 a try, we're glad you like it. Hopefully you can get on a dyno soon to see how it's doing, but if you are enjoying how the car feels that's really what it is all about. One of these days we would like to get a hold of some 93 octane fuel and do a flash/dyno session with that to see how our tune stacks up against some of the east coast tuners.
