Noob boost read question on cobb AP.

Now that I have the AP updated with the new beta firmware I can read boost nicely. Now my question is, when should I be hitting max boost? Its very hard for me to get much above 20psi. I dont think I have seen it read more than 21-22 but the max reading does show that sometimes it hits around 25.
Do you not hit peak but for a second? Is it only in higher gears? Seems like the car pulls super hard around 4000-5000 rpm, but the boost usually only reads around 17 or so there.

What flash do you have? Boost should be 22-25 psi max for stage 2 tapering to 17-18 psi by redline. Cobb's site has really good information if you click on the map's data. The boost reading is dynamic meaning it is only at a given pressure for a limited amount of time as the engine moves through the rev range. If you are worried about it use the AP for datalogging and see what boost you reach as it climbs and tapers through the revs, or get a peak/hold boost gauge.
