Strut Bar
my .02
To me it seems like it would put a lot of stress on the 2 bolts (1 on each side.) However not being in the car mod game for too long I could very well be wrong. I am throwing in my .02 anyway but there are others on this forum that have far more knowledge on the subject. I was curious to ask if anyone that had the rmr strut bar if they have come across any difficulties with checking/filling the brake reservoir?
I would highly recommend checking the parts review forums. I posted a brief review of the RRM strut bar in there, and I'm certain there are a few others. Please take a look around and do a search or two before you post a question that's probably been asked before?
It is kind of the opposite of what you are thinking. With the grip levels you have on street tires you could begin to put enough stress on it to need any more than a single bar. Those bolts withstand 2200 lbs. of stress no problem.

There is no possible way that strut bar is gonna shear the bolts off the strut tops. The strut bar would bend and the struts and lower A arm would bend first.
(unless you over tighten or something is defective)
Also read the shop manual when torquing the bolts down, I think it's some incredibly low number like 15ft/lb of torque

Installed RMR strut bar this evening. 1 hour time limit. 5 minutes for strut bar. 5 minute for bong break. 5 minute for bb. 15 minute for bb. 10 minute for windshield washer tubing reroute. 20 minute for bb. Will drive in the morning as it is late tonight and wife's car is in the way. Will this thing do anything anyway? Can't wait to find out for myself as the stories and threads on this piece of bolton vary from best thing ever installed on my ride to hope it looks nice cause it don't do squat.
I'm betting it will help with the overall harder cornering and and coil springs I have
