This is the bad boy I used all year long that set all the records. Shifting quality is amazing. It is a IX trans with evo 8 3rd & 4th gear, etc. It has all the bells and whistles and was just finished up. Its still in the box from Sheptrans. Price is $2650 no core required.

 

Does it have the 4.11 final drive?

 

Bump for a great trans. I dropped .6 in my 1/4 ET just from switching to it from my 6-Speed!

I dont believe shep ever did that. If he did I didnt get charged forr it This is what was done the first time.

REM gearset Isf process- So did they do this to the new second gear on your refresh as well?

 

Of course it was done on the new set... Shep builds my stuff to break records and handle whatever I can throw at it... Its the best of the best. He and I never cut corners. I re-built this trans with the intention of putting it back in my car in hopes of running 8's. But I got an offer I couldnt refuse on my chassis so the trans is just sitting in my garage.

 

One last question im guessing they did this too then ,, double syncros on 5th gear?

 

Not that I know of, no reason for double synchro's for 5th in my opinion. The car does 160mph in 4th gear....

What car ?? Thank-you for answering my questions i dont have a motor that revs to 10k , with road racing i tend to hit 5th a lot so im leaning towards a double syncro'd 5th
