Borg-Warner S259 Turbo Kit by Pure Tuning
-Pure Tuning custom Borg-Warner S259 Turbo Kit for Evo 8/9.
(Kit was used for 500miles when I decided to go bigger and twinscroll.)
Kit Includes:
Borg-Warner S259 turbocharger w/ Open T3 .55a/r stainless turbine housing
Turbo oil restrictor fitting
Full Race T3 exhaust manifold
Precision/Garrett 750HP intercooler
Tial 44mm wastegate w/ dumptube
Custom 4” aluminum intake w/ AEM dryflow filter
Custom aluminum intercooler piping (upper pipe is made to fit Magnus V5 intake manifold)
Upper intercooler pipe is flanged for Tial bov which is not included
Includes all Vibrant couplers and t-bolt clamps
Custom 3” stainless downpipe (made to clear lower arm bars and x-case)
Custom 3” downpipe back stainless exhaust system
Kit new was a little over $6000.00
Selling it for $3200.00
Buyer pays shipping and paypal.
I included the catback exhaust system so you didn’t have to worry if the downpipe was going to fit your current system. If you didn’t have an exhaust then now you do.
Kit only needs a few things to get running. You’ll need to run your oil feed and return lines, figure out the intake manifold connection, and Tial BOV.





Dynoed on a Mustang1100AWD
First is the pump/race dyno graph with the Magnus Street Intake Manifold. Car made 439whp pump and 515whp on race gas.

Second dyno graph reflects the change from the Magnus SIM to the Magnus V5 Intake Manifold. The intake manifold change netted 21whp on pump gas. I never took the time on this car to turn up the boost with race gas, but with other Evo’s I've done with the S259 and Magnus V5 have ended up in the 540whp area with proper supporting parts.
