Amp acting strange.
Amp acting strange.
Hey everybody! New guy here. I just installed an amp and subwoofer in my 09 GTS with the use of a LOC. I connected it to the wires that are in the pillar next to the drivers side door. The sound comes through fine but whenever I turn the car off, the subwoofer will give off a thud. The amp will "trip" whenever I use the power door locks and I have to turn the car off and then on again to get the amp to turn back on. The wires that I spliced into were the pink and torquoise. Anybody have any idea whats going on? Maybe I didnt splice into the correct wires?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its connected to the audio wires in the pillar by the drivers seat. Not sure what your saying.
Anyways, I got everything sorted out. I adjusted the crossover on the amp and all is well. The sound to the sub comes out perfectly and no more popping when i turn the car off or use the door locks.

Nevermind, the problem was the wires that I hooked the LOC to. The gray with blue stripe one should have been where the turqoise one was hooked up to the LOC. Switched the wires and everything works. I dont know why the "how to" that I looked up specified the yellow and turqoise wires when it should have been yellow and gray w/blue stripe?
