Question Bolt pattern: GTS vs Evo X high wing

So I have yet to find a answer to this but does the evo x wing use the same bolt pattern as the gts? aka can i swap out my gts wing for a evo x high wing?

Just wondering since theres a lot of good deals on here and my dealership would paint it aqua for $50 you cant beat it!

Thanks!

i think they ARE the same, but the evo X has one extra hole on each side. so for 2 of the holes, they line up, but you will have to drill one hole on each side for an extra bolt on the evo X wing

Someone I know ordered an aftermarket "Evo-style" wing off eBay or something and the bolt pattern was different. He had to drill another hole, but the one that was there was covered up, so unless he were to take it off and put the old one on you'd never see it.

I would think that Mitsu would have made the bolt pattern the same between their Lancer/Evo wings, but I don't know for sure.

Crap! Why didn't I see this thread sooner?
I'd love to swap for the low wing!

On the Evo wing each side has 3 bolts, and one goes a different way from the others.
Somebody proposed that if I found someone in my area willing to swap, it might be easier to swap trunk lids, so the other guy doesn't have to drill holes, and I don't have to fill holes.

Now and then someone with a regular Lancer tells me, "Nice car", or "nice wing", but when I ask "Wanna trade wings?" they never do.

Hmmm...

MN is a long way from FL, and I won't be back in the states until next July...
...but most of the GTS wings on the internet look a little expensive for my taste.

If we trade we each know we're getting a factory wing!

I'm back from Afghanistan now, but damn...we're all really far from each other.
I need to think about how to do this...
